The first album following the bizarro-vocalist Peter Gabriel's departure from the band, "A Trick Of The Tail" showed to the world that Genesis were still going strong despite losing a frontman. In place of Gabriel at the microphone was drummer Phil Collins, who at the time sounded a little bit like Peter anyway, so that was all good. And even though some of the songs exhibit the slightly "hazy" production I've noticed on Genesis albums between '76 and '80, "ATotT" is still a very enjoyable album with some of my favourite Genesis songs residing on its disc (namely "Dance On A Volcano" and "Los Endos").
