Strah - Ondskapens Sanne Ansikt [2010]

This is true Norwegian black metal by the book, but for that, it has a wonderful feeling of honesty, and strong compositional chops are shown here too. Song titles are predictable, and of the sort that a black metal fan will roughly understand without learning a word of Norwegian ('Dødskult'), but again, that's part of the charm.
